On June 20, 2016 the Heritage Park Railroad Museum in Union received the last B&M Railroad all wood Water Tower in this state!
The water tower was donated by The Lake Shore Park Club of Gilford NH to the Wakefield NH Heritage Commission.
Bob McChesney of 3D Express planned and designed all procedures for the dismantling of the water tower
Richard McChesney of Mystic Builders with his crew handled the construction of the inside tower that was needed to hold the tank walls together while the wall sections were removed and the dismantling of the rest of the structure plus the moving of the tower to Union NH.
Mark Davis Construction and crane service provided the crane and transportation of the water tower to it’s new home at the Wakefield NH Heritage Train Museum in Union NH
